All players and team staff have a responsibility to review the Emergency Action Plan on handling medical emergencies and threats to the health and safety of players during practice or a game. Each team must review the instructions with staff and players each season and be able to enact the plan in the event of an emergency.
Potential emergencies include cardiac arrest, head and neck injuries, asthma, heat and cold related issues, allergic reactions, and environmental and security risks.
Team administrators must print a copy of the players’ Emergency Contact information in TeamPass and make sure other team members have a copy so that the information is quickly accessible during a game or practice.
